I have recently moved from the U.K to Sydney Australia, bringing Daynart Vintage with me, and am thoroughly enjoying this opportunity and experience.
I've always enjoyed finding pre-loved treasures, whether they be records, clothes, homeware or furniture, and still do. Weekends will find me at an antique fair or a vintage event. I particularly love the 1940s events popular in the U.K.
I love collecting and wearing clothes from the across the decades because I love the styles and quality. And the great thing about wearing and using vintage is that no one else will have the same as you.
I also have an ever growing collection of beaded bags and powder compacts. I find them so hard to resist, but it means that they are regularly listed in my shop. My hobby expanded in 2016 into this shop, full of quality hand picked items that I personally adore. I don't list anything in my shop that I wouldn't be happy to receive, wear or use myself.
Lastly, an explanation of my shop name. Daynart, derives from Dayna Art as I have a background as a scenic painter and prop maker. I’m especially drawn to vintage with colourful surface decorations and images.
