Gwenda cigarette case or business card holder with yellow flowers, 1950s vintage Hussey and Dawson ladies vanity makeup mirror

This lovely cigarette case is by British maker Hussey and Dawson, who made vanity items under the brand name Gwenda. The lid is decorated with a printed image of yellow roses on a black background, and has an internal mirror. The base has an attractive, hexagonal design, and is ridged to fit the cigarettes. A sprung internal bar keeps them in position. This cigarette case has no branding marks.

CONDITION

🔸This Gwenda cigarette case is in very good used vintage condition.
🔸The hinge and clasp work as they should.
🔸The internal bar works well.
🔸The mirror gives a clear reflection, but may be a very well done replacement, as it doesn’t have a bevelled edge. Please see the photos.
🔸The gold tone is bright and shiny with light scuffs and scratches. Please see the photos.
🔹There is a mark to the corner of the lid. Please see the photos.
🔹There is a small chip to the black enamel, and some tiny lumps. Please see the photos.
