Mother of pearl vintage Stratton convertible powder compact, c1970s or 1980s MOP makeup mirror

The lid of this pretty vintage powder compact is decorated with square pieces of mother of pearl. They catch the light beautifully. The gold tone metal base has a thin stripe and dot design, with “Stratton, made in England” engraved on the central cartouche. This dates the compact to between the early 1970s and the late 1980s. This compact is designed for use with cream powder, and the notch at the side helps with the removal of powder trays.
CONDITION
🔸This Stratton powder compact is in good used vintage condition.
🔸The hinge and catch work as they should.
🔸The mother of pearl lid is in very good condition, with some light scratches.
🔹The mirror gives a good reflection, but has a patch of light fogging. Please see the photos.
🔹The gold tone has some scuffs, and the base has tarnish and marks. Please see the photos.
