This lovely silvertone Stratnoid powder compact, dates from the 1920s to the early 1930s, when the company became Stratton. This little compact is made from a silver tone metal, and decorated with a striped design to the lid. The base has a blank rectangular cartouche in the centre. The internal mirror is polished metal. The central powder compartment has "Reg. design No.767198" engraved on it, but has no brand mark. The lid holds a polished metal mirror. The compact is designed to hold loose powder, accessed by turning the "non-spill" lid.
🔸This Stratnoid compact is in good used vintage condition.
🔸The hinge, clasp, and rotating centre work as they should.
🔸The metal mirror gives a good reflection, with some marks. Please see the photos.
🔸The silver tone is bright, with some surface abrasions and marks. Please see the photos.
🔹The is a small indentation to the lid. Please see photo 6.
