This lovely pressed glass jar, made in the 1950s or 1960s by English company Lissco, will add a touch of vintage glamour to your dressing table. The lid sits on top of the glass jar. It has a cabochon with a blue rose design, placed on a background of white lace. The decorations are protected by a layer of clear plastic. The Regent of London logo is pressed into the underside of the lid, whilst “Regent of London, made in England” is moulded onto the base of the glass. I can’t see any mould marks. This jar is in lovely, usable condition.
🔸This Regent of London jar is in very good used vintage condition.
🔸The glass has no chips that I can see, but has a small air bubble and a very thin vein-like line.
🔹The metal rim has been pushed in slightly. Please see the photos.
🔹The decoration is in very good condition, with some slight discolouration to the lace. Please see the last photo.
Diameter of jar rim 3 1/2” or 9cm
Diameter of lid 3 7/8” or 10cm
Height 2 5/8” or 7cm
