This stylish maxi dress probably dates to between the late 1960s and late 1970s. It is fully lined in a black and beige fabric, and is covered with a sheer black outer layer. The back of the cocktail dress gives the illusion of a low back, and has a long nylon zipper. The waist has a thin band of velvet, that fastens with a hook and eye across the zipper. This lovely dress has it’s branded “Jane and Jane by Susan Small” label, and is size 16. The fabric label states “Nylon and Rayon, to be dry cleaned”.
This dress is a vintage size 16 which is comparable to a modern size 12.
CONDITION
🔸This vintage dress is in very good used vintage condition.
🔸The stitching and fabric is strong, with no faults to mention.
🔹The only issue I can see is a slight fading to the lining on the left shoulder.
