Rondis vanity set, with embroidered pink and blue flowers, Mid century hairbrush, hand mirror and clothes brush

This pretty Rondis vanity set comprises of a hand mirror, hairbrush, clothes brush and comb. The items in the set have handles and frames of gold tone metal, with a pretty fan design at either end. They are embroidered with a colourful posy of flowers, including a pink rose and foliage. The design has some gold stitched details, that catch the light prettily. The design is embroidered onto a white satin-like fabric, and protected by a clear plastic top layer. The mirror glass is a good size, and has a bevelled edge. The hairbrush bristles are inserted into a white plastic base, and is removable for cleaning. The hairbrush head has “Rondis” printed on the inside. The clothes brush has “Made in England, nylon” printed on its wooden base.

This is an attractive and usable vanity set.

CONDITION

🔸This vintage Rondis vanity set is in good used condition.
🔸The decoration is in very good condition, with a small gap between the fabric and the edge of the frame.
🔸The bevelled mirror gives a clear reflection, with a mirror spot. Please see the photos.
🔸The brush heads clip on and off, although a little stiff.
🔸The hairbrush bristles are in very good condition.
🔸The gold tone metal handles and frames are bright and shiny, with some scuffs, tarnish and marks. Please see the photos.
🔹The wooden brush base has some cracking to the white paint, and the clear plastic covers have some light scuffs and marks. Please see the photos.
