Kigu ladies cigarette case, gold metal with green, c1950s mid century barrel trinket holder

This one of a kind, Kigu cigarette case could also be used as a trinket holder. This gold tone cigarette case has a stripe and dot design on both sides, with a decorative border framing the lid. The sides are ridged, and “made in England, Kigu" engraved by the catch. The lid is decorated with a gold tone and green motif. This is not original to this cigarette case, and has been added at a later date. It may have originally been part of an earring or pendant.

This vintage cigarette case can hold cigarettes up to 2 7/8” or 7.4cm long.

CONDITION

🔸This vintage Kigu cigarette case in good used condition.
🔸The hinge and catch work well.
🔸The gold tone is bright and shiny, with some marks, scuffs and tarnish. Please see the photos.
🔹The lid decoration is a later addition, and is not original to this cigarette case. Some glue is visible through the green gems. Please see the photos.
