Stratton convertible powder compact, with birds c1950s to 1960s, vintage A Wagg makeup mirror

This lovely Stratton powder compact is decorated with two birds, perching on branches with pink blossom, and is signed A Wagg. The gold tone base has an all over stars design with “Stratton, made in England” engraved in the centre. This design dates this compact to between the mid 1950s and the mid 1960s. This compact is convertible, and can be used for loose powder, and cream powder trays are kept in position by the inner ring.
CONDITION
🔸This vintage Stratton compact is in very good used condition.
🔸The mirror is gives a good reflection, with some mirror spots.
🔸The hinges and clasps work as they should.
🔸The lid is in very good condition, with some light scuffs.
🔸The gold tone is bright and shiny, with some light scuffs and a tiny mark to the base.
🔹There is some mirror spots across the glass, but these do not effect the reflection. Please see the photos.
