Vintage Stratton convertible powder compact with a lilac roses, 1970s or 1980s m.akeup mirror

This Stratton convertible compact is decorated with a bunch of lilac roses on a white background. The base has a thin stripes and dot design, dating the compact to between the mid 1970s and late '80s. "Stratton, made in England" is engraved in a cartouche in the centre. This compact can be used with cream powder trays, and has a notch to aid with their removal. It can also be used with loose powder.


🔸This Stratton compact is in very good used condition.
🔸The hinges and catches work as they should.
🔸The mirror gives a clear reflection.
🔸The gold tone is bright and shiny, with a little tarnish to the base.
🔹The lid and gold tone metal have some light scuffs and marked from use. Please see the photos.
